Objectives: This study aimed to identify differences in the impact of hospital workers¡¯ job satisfaction on turnover intention based on employment patterns. The study seeks to provide a baseline that can benefit hospital workforce operations.
Methods: A total of 128 employees from five university and general hospitals in Busan were randomly selected. They were surveyed for seven days, from May 13th to 19th, 2020. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, crosstabs, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS.
Results: First, there was a significant correlation between hospital workers¡¯ job satisfaction and turnover intention. Second, a difference in regular employee welfare, pride of non-regular employees, and job satisfaction with wages significantly impacted turnover intention.
Conclusions: Through differentiated HR management, it is necessary to reduce turnover intention to attract more people.
